MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Box Jump Over: The athlete jumps up the box contacting both feet at the top and then moves to the other side of the box contacting with the feet on the ground; no hip extension is required at the top, but it is necessary that both feet come off the ground, contact the box and contact the ground on the opposite side; Step up is not allowed.

Front Squat: With the Front Rack, the athlete performs the squatting motion, causing the iliac crest to surpass the knee line, returning to its full extension, always keeping the bar always in contact with the shoulders; it is allowed to make the movement of squat clean to remove the bar from the ground;

Shoulder-to-Overhead: The athlete places the barbell on the shoulders (any style); then the bar moves over the head (any style); the movement is valid when the athlete finishes the extension of the elbows with the bar above the stabilized head and balanced in the frontal plane with total extension of the hip and knees; at any stage of the S2OH movement, the athlete cannot perform any squatting motion (iliac crest below the knee – Ex: thruster, squat jerk);

Hang Snatch: The bar runs from the ground until the athlete performs full extension of the hip and knees. After reaching this position the athlete can descend with the bar to the top of the knee and in a single and fluid movement the movement ends with the bar above the head; only the feet can contact with the ground and the movement ends with the full extension of the elbows, hip and knees with the stabilized bar above the head balanced in the frontal plane; The athlete can break the parallel (90 ° flexion of the knee joint).
